When I was about 17 years old, I had a crush on a boy from my town that was older than me in 3 years. He wasn’t interested in anything serious, in fact he was quite a player, he was dating me and another girl at the same time. I admired him completely and thought that he was a very strong person he made me laugh and it was fun to be around him, at some point I realized that nothing will come out of it and I walked away. He always spoke about his future plans, he was very ambitious and very popular, and everyone in my town knew him and respected him. When he reached 21 he moved to a new city and he was trying to find his way in the world. A year after, he committed suicide, he hanged himself in the hotel that he was working as a security guard, apparently he started to hang out with the wrong crowd and he was taking drugs and he realized that he is not achieving the goals that he set up for himself and he fell into big depression. One of his goals was to buy his mum a house and to be able to provide for her, a promise that he made to her after his Dad died. It was quite a sad story. I was very surprised to hear that he took his own life as I always believed he had such a strong personality. Sometimes you think you know people and they do the unexpected thing, I was totally confused after his death. Anyway, check out this awesome song about two great people that are not with us anymore…
